Custom Aspect Ratio Video

  Hi,

  I’m in the process of making a front page and I need to use a repeating video as a banner rather than a slider of images. The problem I’m encountering is that when I upload a video in the aspect ratio I want (1920×720) the embedded video always has black bars top and bottom as if the player forces the video on a 16:9 window. It does this regardless of whether I use a youtube embed or a self-hosted video. Is there any way to stop those black bars showing up? Thanks!
