Custom Background

  I am trying to do more with custom backgrounds, so that I have what in effect would look like a scrapbook page for my background.
  I have multiple files at my disposal to use for such, and Adobe Photoshop Elements to create a final look for what I want, however I can not seem to get a correct image size.

  Can anyone please guide me on what the image size should be for the BACKGROUND for themes where we can use custom backgrounds? I know any theme that allows custom header the header specifies the image size, so I am able to modify that based on the theme.

  I’m still a blog newbie, but not an internet newbie (I’ve just gotten lazy).

  The problem is that many people use different resolutions on their laptop from small to extremely large.

  My advice is to go with a tiled background.
