Custom Background images w/o (re)uploading?
-
(I’m sorry if this question has already been addressed, I just couldn’t find it!)
Is there any way to choose a background image WITHOUT having to re-upload one? (as in, can one simply use one of the pictures already uploaded in the Media section?) It’s a little annoying to keep uploading the same pictures.
Thanks again, and sorry if this is a repeat post…: )

There isn’t any way to do a background from a URL or from the media library unless you had the CSS upgrade and CSS editing experience.

One other thing I’ll note on background images. They should be under 75k in file size. Anything larger will slow down blog loading times especially if you also use images in your posts, and Google now uses page loading times as one of the criteria in determining page rank and search engine rank. Slow loading sites or pages will get discounted.
