custom background per page

    Hi,

    I’m attempting to customize a background image for ONLY the “about” page of my blog, rather than having the image repeat on all pages. I’ve Googled this at least a dozen times and am still unable to resolve the issue. Could someone please advise as to the solution? I’m using Harmonic theme on allegroconbrio.me.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

    Currently, I’m seeing that you switched the theme to Intergalactic. Do you still need help with this?

    Cheers!

    I do. I would still like to apply a background specific to the about page. Thanks!

    Sure. You can do this if you edit CSS. Go to Appearance → Customize → CSS and add the following:

    .page-id-1 {
    	background-image: url(ENTER_IMAGE_URL) !important;
    }

    Where it says, ENTER_IMAGE_URL, add the direct URL of the image. Note that it must end in .jpg or .png.

    Cheers!
