Custom categories doesn’t appear

The only category appearing in my blog is the default one, uncategorized. I tried everything: install & uninstall categories widget,delete&create new categories. At the beginning they appear, but something happened, i saw a category called 759 (that i didn’t create) and after that i’ve never seen them again. I’m using the free (web based) wordpress system. Please help me. Thank you

It helps all involved if you link your blog to your user name as explained in this sticky:
Without being able to see your blog, I can only guess that the categories don’t have any posts assigned to them yet. They won’t show up until they have at least 1 post.

I see only 3 posts on your blog and they are all uncategorized. Two of them have tags and I see those tags on your sidebar. Since they are side-by-side, I assume it’s a tag cloud, not a list or drop down.
Categories and tags are different things. This will explain them:

I solved it. how? i don’t know…Nice blog also, but i didn’t find a rice food! I’d make a rice category, with posts for paella valenciana, cooked oven rice…with a tag called “my specialties” bon apetit!
