custom color options for selected text in the block editor are obscured
-
I see this problem in Chrome, on two different sites, using two different themes on top of WordPress 5.9.1.
The custom color options for selected text in the block editor for WordPress WordPress 5.9.1 are obscured by the right panel for Block options.
To recreate:
1. Add a new post.
2. Add some text.
3. Select the text.
4. In the right panel for Block options, select Text Color > Selected Text Color. The default color palette displays.
5. Click in the custom color area (gray and white squares at the top).
6. The custom color control displays. To type the hex code for a custom color, you must click a button to the right of the current hew code, but that button is almost completely hidden behind the right panel for Block options. -
To clarify: I cannot specify a custom color code because the button the controls that enable me to do that are hidden. The ability to specify a custom color for selected text seems to be broken. At least it seems that way to me.

What is the URL of the site with the problem?

Can you suggest a community on https://wordpress.org/support/ that is appropriate for possible bugs in WordPress software? We’re installed WordPress on a IOSP, but this seems to be WordPress issue.

I’ll try https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/
Thanks for steering me to these other forums.

Hi there,
For something like this the general troubleshooting forum at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/ would probably be better, but if you post in the wrong forum the moderators there should be able to move your question to the correct one.
