Custom Colors Hemingway theme

  Hi team,

  I have the Hemingway Rewritten theme and need help with two things:
  1. How can I change the color of the menu bar?
  2. How can I change the background color of the sidebar?

  Hi Judith,
  Good day!
  You can edit it using CSS. All you need to do is open your theme customizer and enter below code. For this sample, I have put it as yellow. You can change it whatever your color preference is.

  .main-navigation {
  background: yellow;
  }

  .site-content .widget-area {
  background-color: yellow;
  }

  Hi @abevzla, to add custom CSS, you would need either the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan, which both include Custom Design.

  The Customizer can be reached by going to My Sites and then down a ways on the left, you will see “Customize”. If you click on that it takes you to the Customizer. If and when you upgrade to Premium or Business, you will then see a CSS tab in the left navigation pane.

  My apologies, I forgot to mention about the CSS customizet is only applicable on premium or business plan.
