Custom Colors not available
-
I just upgraded and am trying to change the color palette of my site and the color boxes for the the palette are empty. The CSS box print is black on black so I can’t even try to fix the colors through a style sheet. Which I wouldn’t know how to do anyway. I tried to fill out a technical support form but the boxes won’t load to write a note. What the hell is going on over there? This is my first effort in putting some cash on the table to WordPress and I am really sorry that I did.

Hi there,
If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer (such as IE 7) you may experience some formatting issues when accessing WordPress.com. I recommend upgrading to the latest version of Internet Explorer or downloading the latest version of another popular browser here: http://browsehappy.com/
If you have the latest version of Internet Explorer, you may need to turn Compatibility View off in your browser: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view
Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

Thanks Rachel. I just worry how it will look to other readers in different browsers. I guess it is almost impossible to make it look good across the internet.

Given how much web browsers change over time, it can be difficult to ensure that a site will look good in all versions of web browsers. However, the formatting issues I mentioned are specific to the WordPress.com dashboard. Your site itself may look just fine in older browsers! :)
