Custom comment avatars

My blog avatar is showing up as a favicon, but only displaying as a generic logo in my comments even though I checked “show avatars” in the discussion settings. ( http://ecbjournal.wordpress.com/). Commenter avatars are also only displaying as generic logos. How can I make sure my and commenters’ avatars are displaying properly in the comments? (The same problem with two other of my blogs, and I never had this problem before.) Is that because I’m only allowed one avatar per email address?

Every WordPress.com username account is also a gravatar account and there is only one gravatar for each username account.

The first place they tend to display is here in the forums. Don’t keep uploading or the time for displaying will move forward. If several days have passed and that change is not in evidence then post here for Gravatar support > http://en.gravatar.com/site/contact-us/
Be sure you have selected your display preferences for gravatars and worked through all options here > Settings > Discussion from “Avatar Display __ Show Avatars ” all the way to the end of the page and then click “save changes”.
