Custom Content/Post Types on WordPress.com?

  Hiya:

  I’m hoping to setup a new site with different content types (terminology borrowed from #drupal, searching forums using these terms didn’t return anything). Is this possible on WordPress.com?

  At WP.com rather than WP.org it IS possible, but only on some themes, and only prefab formats.
