Custom CSS

  I’m trying out the free trial version of the Custom CSS upgrade. My question is this – I am using the new Gateway theme, and it allows three featured posts or pages on the static home page. Can I change or edit that to allow more? I’d like to have a second section underneath with three more, so six total. And even possibly use two categories for the two sections. Is that a possibility? Or is the Custom CSS more for fonts, colors, backgrounds, etc.
