Custom CSS Add Picture Box

    Hi All,

    I’m reatlively new to this. I want to know if, with custom CSS, you can add an extra box next to your header to add an image in. Please see my site in which I have the text on the left hand side, and on the right hand side it is quite bare in my header section. This is where I would like to add a rectangle or something with which I can paste an image in that links to other sites.

    Let me know if this is possible and I will purchase the upgrade and figure how to do it.

    Thank you!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    We can’t see your site because you haven’t given us a link to it and http://sarahayoub.wordpress.com is password protected. This is definitely possible with the CSS upgrade but, depending on your theme, it might also be achievable with some HTML and a simple text widget, which has the advantage of being free.

    I’m sorry! this is the first time I do this. It’s http://www.wordsmithlane.wordpress.com.

    I am using the theme Bueno. When you get to my page, you will see my title ‘Sarah Ayoub’s Wordsmith Lane’ which is towards the right. On the left hand side is where I would like to place the rectangle (in the blank bit) to place an image that links to another site there. Thank you!

    @sarah
    FWIW no wordpress.com URLs contain “www”. The correct URL for your blog is http://wordsmithlane.wordpress.com/ When it comes to linking to “other sites” do be mindful that those sites must be sites that comply with the wordpress.com TOS to avoid having your blog suspended. If you aren’t clear on that and it’s a commercial site that you wish to link then I recommend that you run the URL of the “other site” by Staff before linking to it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
