custom CSS header disappeared after $15 CSS upgrade
-
After I upgraded to a customizable CSS, my custom header graphic disappeared. I tried to fix it with the custom CSS header feature but to no avail. I tried to insert code (#pix ….) but that didn’t work either. Can anyone help? Blog is http://konstanzealexbrown.wordpress.com
On a different note: How can I get rid off the ‘wordpress’ part in my blog name w/o causing major disruption. I’d be happy to buy an upgrade if that would do it. Thanks, Konnie

When you get the CSS upgrade, the custom header image thing quits working and you have to put the URL of the header into the appropriate place in the CSS. Upload your header pre-sized to the exact size for your theme into your media library. Get the URL of that image and place it into the CSS below between the parentheses.
#header_content { background:#990000 url() repeat-y scroll center center; } -
As for the second question, check the FAQ for “Domain Upgrade” and you’ll find the instructions.
