Custom CSS not applying to Live Website

    Hello!
    When I tried applying Custom CSS to my website, it would not appear on the live website.
    The edits would appear in the customizer but stayed the same on the live site.
    How can I fix this?
    (Issue: I tried applying Custom CSS to make the font weight of the site title normal, but this CSS would not load on the live website –> I’m not sure if it is a problem with WordPress or my theme. I have cleared my cache and refreshed the website multiple times, but this has not fixed the issue.)

    Hello!
    I tried applying Custom CSS to my website, but the results would not appear on the live website. The changes would only appear in the Customizer.
    I have refreshed my website multiple times, but the changes have still not appeared.
    After refreshing the customizer, the changes did not go through, but it says the website is still running the custom CSS.
    Is this an issue with WordPress, or my theme? How can I prioritize the custom CSS, so it will override any underlying code affecting the website?

    Hi! We’ve got those merged for you.

    This could mean you’re saving but not publishing in the customizer, or you may have some other plugin (like a caching plugin) interfering. I’d check for both possibilities first. If you still need help, you’ll want to create an account at WordPress.org so you’ll have access to the correct community for your site. Be sure to share a link to the affected page, the code you’re using, etc.

    These forums are primarily for sites that use our free-tier hosting. We’re a little different from the WordPress software itself. This article explains some of the differences.
