when i’m still in the editor it seems to work and recognize the new font – but when i save the changes the @import line is deleted and the change does not seem to happenI think there is a bug in my css editor because it has many bugs and i cant always open the css editor window

Hi there – It’s not possible to import a font set that way, through the CSS editor. The CSS editor lets you style the elements that are already included in your theme’s HTML.
You can pick any font from Appearance->Customize->Fonts, or you can set a font style using CSS. You can get additional help with that in the CSS Customization forum:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customizationFor the other problems you’re having with your CSS editor, can you please provide more detail? When you are unable to open it, do you have that problem in all browsers, or only in Chrome? Are you always unable to open it, or only sometimes?

Hi there – I’m not sure I understand. Can you please make a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
A screenshot of your entire screen when you can see the CSS editor and another of when you can’t would help me see immediately what you’re talking about. You can upload the screenshots to your blog’s Media Library and I can look at them there.
