Custom CSS question

  Hello,
  I am in the process of writing custom CSS for my blog and for some reason, some of the I have declared are overwritten by other rules, ntoably in sub-pages like article page.

  Why is that and how to I overwrite these rules properly?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
