Custom CSS showing in Customizer, Not Site
-
Hello, the site I am working on is http://www.inforlife.club.
I found custom CSS in the VENI developer’s forum to make my logo larger, then added it to the customizer.
The logo immediately got bigger and I was thrilled.
But the change isn’t translating to regular visits on my browser outside of the customizer.
Google mostly takes me down a rabbit hole of cache issues. Is clearing cache the problem? Or maybe something about the theme? It looks like other developers have enlarged their VENI logos without issue.
Thank you!

Hey there! I’m seeing the change on my end, but we’ll clear the cache just in case it’s having issues elsewhere on our CDN. Can you confirm it looks correct now?

Hi, thanks for your response!
I “fixed it” the other day by switching from compact navigation to normal navigation. For some reason if the header is centered, it looks perfect. If it is moved to the left corner, it is too small.
I would still prefer compact navigation if possible. Thanks for your help.

Hello there,
Many thanks for getting back to us.
I “fixed it” the other day by switching from compact navigation to normal navigation. For some reason if the header is centered, it looks perfect. If it is moved to the left corner, it is too small.
Do you mean when you make it the social menu?
What are you doing exactly to move to the left corner?
Is the intended outcome here to move the menu from the center of the site to another part of the site?
Many thanks in advance.

No, the social menu has nothing to do with my problem as far as I can tell.
My website is currently presented in “normal” navigation via the customizer. This means the logo is centered, and the primary menu links are centered underneath.
When I was dealing with the problem, I was in “compact” navigation, meaning the logo was top left and the primary menu links were top right.
At this point, I’m probably willing to just leave it as is, since it looks pretty good. But I would prefer to switch back to “compact” navigation if I could figure out how to enlarge the logo.
Again, this all started with a CSS edit while in “compact” navigation. I used code provided by the designer to enlarge the logo (apparently this is a common problem) but it did not translate to a larger logo OUTSIDE of the customizer, i.e. a different browser page.
Do you need me to revert back to “compact” navigation in order to see what I mean?

Yes please, if you’d like us to troubleshoot this with your CSS, that would help.

Ok, I reset to compact navigation. Logo still small despite the new CSS. Thank you for your help.
