Custom Design £20

for a custom design it states FROM £20 but then takes you to a £70 page, where is the £20 element, I only want the custom design, not the other bits?

Since your account is only 6 days old you are special, and it will cost you the 70 lb (sorry don’t know how to do the pound currency thing) – all accounts opened after Sept 1, 2014 pay the Up-Sell Cable TV special bundle package pricing plan – that is to “enhance” your blogging experience as one of the staff said by forcing you to buy things you don’t seem to need or want.
The only workaround is if you have a friend that has an older account – add them as an admin to your blog and have them buy just the CSS upgrade for you.
I and many others argued against the new Up-Sell policy in the forum here and we lost – sorry not better news

Sorry – I really don’t agree with the policy and no longer recommend WordPress.COM without a large disclaimer about the “new” WordPress.com pricing policies – many folks have chosen not to host here based on the new policy and I also have some friends that have skipped the upgrades – $30 would have been fine but for $99 WordPress.com can shove the credit card
