  Okay so I’m completely new to WordPress. I have to make a blog for one of my classes and my group had me do an “instruction manual” on how to do a custom design (format on how the blog will look on the ipad or cellphone, etc…). Could someone please teach me how to do it? Or at least give me a link that’ll teach me? Thanks

  Here at WordPress.com, you have little to no customization possibilities for iPad/Mobile versions:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/onswipe-theme-for-ipad/

  For everything else, you can use the options available with most themes (Custom Header, Background Image, etc.) or buy the Custom Design upgrade:
