Custom Design Editor Fail To Load

    Custom Design editor not loading, after a recent upgrade to the custom design option the ENTIRE customising idea has stopped. how do I regain access to this so I can continue to build my site?

    Hi there,

    I am bringing this to the attention of our developers to see what can be done to get the customizer working for you correctly.

    In the mean time, you can access our original CSS editor right here:

    On this page you can make most of the edits which you can make in the Customizer (and do even a little bit more in some cases).

    As soon as I have any additional information, I’ll let you know!

    Heya,

    OK, we found the issue! You had started to set your site so that you could have a Static home page under Settings >> Reading, however you did not actually choose a page to be the home page. This resulted in a 404 page when you go to your site.

    This was causing the Customizer to fail to load.

    I went ahead and went to the same Settings >> Reading page and set it back to load your posts on the front page instead (since you don’t have any posts, it will load a similar page), and this is now allowing the Customizer to load correctly!
