Custom Design Functionality

  I’m using the theme Balloons and am really really pleased with it. However, I am ready to get a bit more customized in the layout / design of my blog, so I am thinking about purchasing the Custom Design.

  Once I do, would it be possible to add a sidebar to this theme, even though it doesn’t seem to be an option currently?

  Yes, provided you are adept at CSS editing and purchase a custom design upgrade that can be done.

  Cool thanks! One more question – if I buy a custom design upgrade while using Balloons, but then choose to switch to another theme, will the custom design upgrade cary over?

  Yes, upgrades are per blog per year. But the modifications you make to Balloons won’t be suitable for another theme, and you will have to start from scratch with customization.
