Custom design, increase widget font list item size v. body text?
-
Generic question I think, but see touchofjoyministries.wordpress.com. Theme is 2010.
With Category, Archive, and Recent Post widgets in the sidebar, I can see the size of the items in the lists (when not using pulldown form) is linked to the body text size. I.e., as I increase the body text, the widget list items get larger too.
What I want to do is make the widget list items’ font larger without increasing the size of the body text. I can’t see how to do that from looking at the 2010 CSS. Can it be done, and if so, how? Thanks!

This would be my recommendation. Adjust the % font size value as desired.
#primary { font-size: 110%; } -
Thank you very much. 120% gave the increased legibility I wanted. And I now (think I) know that “#primary” and “#secondary” are referring to widget areas.

You are welcome, and at least in the theme you are using, that is correct. In some themes primary refers to the content area and secondary to the widget area. CSS is theme specific, so you always have to do some poking around to see what the theme designer did.
