Custom Design Issue with Oxygen – Background changes to a solid color

  Hi, I have an issue with Custom Design. I cant seem to get my background colors to stay. I want a white background for the txt (for my static page) and a blue background behind that, but for some reason, no matter how much i change it. the background reverts to solid blue.
