custom design on wordpress installation on godaddy

  I am planning to install wordpress on godaddy for 3 blogs, all three will be on domain.com/blog. Plus, I want to use my own design for the blogs as I have widgets and custom code in mind. Godaddy said wordpress is free, but not sure if I have to pay to be able to use my own design, host ads and for url customization on the blogs. I dont want the date to appear on the url.

  If you are on Godaddy then you need to get help at WordPress.ORG since this forum only supports WordPress.COM blogs

  However, to change the CSS at Godaddy you don’t pay anything to WordPress.COM – the ability to change the CSS is built into all WordPress.ORG themes

  No extra charge at Godaddy to use your own theme, the author of the theme might have a charge for the theme, but that does not go to WordPress.ORG, WordPress.COM or Godaddy

  For ads you are bound by the Godaddy terms of service – should be OK but most have some sort of the service needs to be legal language
