Custom Design Page

My Custom Font page in the window with my title in it says, ‘Apologies, but the page you are requesting cannot be found. Perhaps searching will help.’ I purchased the custom design already and if I select any new font it doesn’t do anything. Please help!

The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of your blog appeared because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

I didn’t delete the post, right now it says its uncategorized. I have my pages set to publish in 2 weeks so that I can design them, and my About page is on draft, is that the problem?

The front page of the blog by default will display your posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. If you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page “Welcome” for your site (Showcase page template) and a “Blog” page for posts.

Which do you choose? It’s one or the other.If you choose a static front page then you have to create two pages as I said above. After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

I chose the static page, About Me, because I don’t want to blog. I just want a portfolio site.
