Custom Design Purchase

  Hi, is it possible to purchase the Custom Design tool without upgrading to the Premium or business package. Custom Design is advertised as $30 USD a year. This is the ONLY feature I would like without having to upgrade to Premium (rest of the features are inconsequential to us)

  The blog I need help with is carinusartcentre.wordpress.com.

  Edit 1: We have gotten private help from a staff member (who has since not been able to follow up) who stated that it is indeed possible to purchase Custom Design without upgrading to a premium or business package.

  Our question is: HOW. The link for its purchase https://wordpress.com/plans/76903413/ seems to only offer the plans.

  Halp.

  Unfortunately it is not possible to purchase only the Custom Design upgrade. You have to buy the whole bundle although, I understand, most of us need only few upgrades.

  This might sound a bit odd but please note, this decision by WP.com is part of constantly experimenting and working to improve the WordPress.com Store experience.

  That seems quite strange considering a staff member has alerted us to the fact that it can be purchased separately (and the fact that it is still advertised as costing $30 a year)

  For clarification:

  WordPress advertises and offers Custom Design at $30 USD a year – http://i.imgur.com/ev1YLQ9.jpg?1

  This can be found at the following address: http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/custom-design/

  If you follow the purchase links, you are taken to a page that advertises the Premium and Business plans and NOT the Custom Design purchase.

  Having purchased a rather expensive .com theme with the aim of there after purchasing the $30 Custom Design package – AND ONLY THE COMPLETELY ADVERTISED $30 package – events are currently leading to show that this is false advertising in a sense as we cannot follow through on these plans due to a tight budget we are working on.

  Although it seems rough to point a finger at WP right now, either this is false advertising and then roping users in down the line on their end, or an incorrect URL pathing. Both ways, help would be appreciated.

  Thank you for reporting this. The pricing you mentioned before was showing up where it should not have been and has now been fixed.
