Custom DNS

  Hi there, just having a look at the Custom DNS, trying to get my GoDaddy hosted e-mail to work.

  Have changed some things but can’t seem to work it out.

  Howdy,

  Your MX records look correct – you may have to wait 4-8 hours for them to fully propagate, though.

  What specifically isn’ working?

  Hi, thanks for the swift response.

  I’ll have a look tomorrow to see if it works. The problem was that I haven’t been able to receive e-mails they just bounce back to the sender.

  Hello, I’ve just tried to send an e-mail to my (email visible only to moderators and staff) address and it has bounced back again. Any advice on the next step..?

  Your MX records seem to be set correctly. At this point, I recommend confirming your DNS settings with GoDaddy.

  I got it worked out, for anyone wanting to know – as the e-mail is hosted on the European servers for GoDaddy I just had to add in europe, as below

  MX 0 smtp.europe.secureserver.net.
  MX 10 mailstore1.europe.secureserver.net.
