Custom DNS entry attempting to point WP domain at Tumblog messed everything up

  Hi, I made a custom DNS entry to my nbacouchside.com website but it didn’t work the way I wanted it to and now I’ve removed the entry and saved again but when I did a Domain Validation, the entry showed up as still being present. Additionally, the DNS entry that I used caused my tumblr blog to re-direct to my wordpress blog (this was not what I wanted, it was the exact opposite. I wanted to use my domain I registered through wordpress to point at my new tumblr blog). Despite attempting to remove the custom DNS entry, the problem (my tumblog url redirecting to my wordpress.com blog @ nbacouchside.com) has persisted. Please help!
