Custom DNS records reverting to WordPress – won't change back

    In November I had a new site built and hosted with a different company. When the site was complete I changed the DNS records of my custom domain (ordered through WordPress) to point to my new site. Everything was working until late last week, when suddenly my new domain was pointing back to my old WordPress site.

    I have tried updating the DNS records in 2 places (under Domains on the My Site menu, and under My Domains in WP Admin/Store menu). My custom domain is still pointing to my old WordPress site, even though I get a message that the records were changed successfully.

    How can I get the DNS changes to stick?
