Custom Domain

  If I purchase a custom domain for my blog – will it automatically 301 redirect from my jedi58.wordpress.com URL to the new domain that I attach to it? Or will users remain on the jedi58.wordpress.com if that is the URL they visit?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Your old address will still work, but WordPress will automatically redirect traffic from your old address to your new one.

  Thanks! realised the old URL would work, but wanted to make sure they’d get redirected when visiting :)
