custom domain

  I have a personal plan. I have been informed that the free custom domain will end. When this ends will I be able to have a personal plan without the custom domain or will I be billed for both regardless?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  @ tvybes01 I can’t see a plan on this account, but if you’ll log into the account that has a plan you can get in touch via http://wordpress.com/help/contact to let us know what you’d like to do with the domain.

  The general options though:

  – cancel the domain and use the free wordpress.com address (I’d recommend switching to the free name sooner than later if you’re going to do that, so links will have time to update before the domain stops working)

  – transfer the domain to the registrar of your choice, and map it (mapping is included in the plan fee)

  – renew the domain in the promotional period, along with your plan (this will extend your plan AND domain, so if your domain normally expires in April 2019, for example, renewing now would extend them both to April 2020)

  – renew the domain and pay for both when it comes due
