custom domain

    I am trying to import my tumblr blog, I removed the custom domain but the importer still won’t let me import because it thinks I’m still using a custom one. Frustrating

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

    I don’t see any running Tumblr imports on dullivory.wordpress.com.

    Please try again, or let me know if you’re trying to import to a different site.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your import is processed.

    Hi! I’m having the same issue. I’ve removed custom domain mapping from the Tumblr account I’m attempting to import, but after each time I’ve cleared my account information from the importer and re-linked to my Tumblr, it reports I’m using a custom domain. Because of this, I haven’t been able to start importing.

    Is there a lag between removing domain mapping in Tumblr and recognition of this by other systems?

    Hi there @dilapotato – please start your own thread here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 and add two tags to the Topic Tags area “modlook” and “tumblr import” without the quotes. Thanks.

    If you haven’t seen it yet there is a sticky post at the top of our forums which gives the most current information on the tumblr import situation: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/tumblr-imports/

  • @dullivory it looks like you deleted your site. Let us know if you want to try again. We have 30 days from deletion to undelete it for you.

    @dilapotato
    I’ll answer you in your thread.

    Thank you, @justjennifer.
