  My custom domain is not working and I think it was about five days ago. It was not restored as stated in the post by gracejiyoung

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  My email is tied to the custom domain. “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” I am sinking at a critical planning time for my upcoming season. PLEASE help.

  Although Vegasvolleyball.org has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers.

  timethief, thank you for your response. I am a bit confused by how to utilize the suggestions in your response. The website and email worked perfectly until a few days ago.

  What is the underlying URL of the form whatever.wordpress.com of your blog? If you do not have one and never had one, your blog was never hosted here and we cannot help you.

  It was vegasvolleyball.wordpress.com before being upgraded.

  The domain name has expired but the mapping upgrade is still working. You will have to contact your former domain registrar to buy the domain, or you could try it here from the dashboard.

  Thank you for the information. I looked via the dashboard and here is what I found:

  vegasvolleyball.org Expiring – will stop functioning on January 26, 2015 Edit Domain
  This is your Primary Domain; the domains below will redirect to it.

  I am not sure I know how to do what you are suggesting raincoaster. Thank you in advance for more advice.
