Custom domain

  I have only domain without any hosting plan from godaddy. I tried to add my domain to wordpress blog , in some tutorials the shown to edit the dns settings. But I am not getting the edit button in “my blogs” , and I didn’t see any domain settings in “wp admin”. Please tell me whether i need to buy any hosting plan or not. And tell me how to add my custom domain to .wordpress blog?

  @srisiva33 – Sounds like you need a domain mapping upgrade ($13/year) – instruction on how to map your godaddy domain (and the domain mapping upgrade) are here – https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Provided of course you want mydomainname.com (for example) to map to mywordpressblog.wordpress.com !
