Custom Domain

  Hi, I’m wondering whether it is possible to map an already existing custom domain to the free WPversion and not WordPress premium or do I have to upgrade to premium? If not, how much does mapping of my old domain cost per year?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You will need to upgrade to any WordPress.com plan to be able to map an existing domain to your free site. Here is how to: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Domain mapping is a feature of all paid plans — Personal, Premium and Business. Each plan includes a domain credit which can be used to map an existing domain (or register a new one).

  Hi,

  I tried up upgrade so I can map a domain I purchased but I get an error saying ‘The domain notjustforgrrrls.com is already mapped to another site.’ when I try and pay. Can you help?

  Hi @notjustforgrrls,

  I can see your domain notjustforgrrrls.com is registered with https://www.enom.com. I saw this by typing your domain on https://www.whois.com .

  I will suggest you contact your registrar to help you out or log in to your account at your domain registrar, and check for any mapped site.
