Custom domain and customization questions

    Hi all,

My blog is https://workfoodhome.wordpress.com/ and I would be grateful if you could assist me with the following questions I have:

Firstly, a custom domain – in my Dashboard it is mentioned that ‘A custom domain name makes your site easier for people to find, makes it look more professional, and it lets you personalize your site with its own, unique web address.’ If I choose to upgrade:
    a) will I lose the existing WordPress and e-mail followers that I have?
    b) would I need to notify any of them of the change in my address?
    c) will my posts still appear in the WordPress Reader?

Secondly, some questions around customization… I currently only have two pages – ‘Home’ and ‘About me’. I would like to create two further pages, one being ‘Travel stories’ and the other ‘Recipes’ – and under each of those I want to create sub-categories (not sure what the right word is, but when I mean is that if e.g. you hover over the ‘Travel stories’ page, then under that you can still navigate to Italy, Spain, France). I think I would be able to figure out how to do that by going through the help files, but I have the following questions:
    a) is it possible to limit the posts on your Home tab to e.g. 5 posts and then, when you add the 6th one, the oldest one automatically move to the relevant section, for instance recipes? Could a person set it up this way?
    b) if (a) is not possible, what other way can you move your stories easily from page to page, or do you have to manually copy and paste them? The idea is not to have duplicate content.

Many thanks – I appreciate any advice that you might have.

    Kind regards,
    Helene Pretorius
