Custom domain blog

  Hi, I purchased a custom domain – chroniclesofyoyo.com and it works fine. However,when i go to Dashboard and under My Blogs, it still appears as craftymemories.wordpress.com. Whenever I publish a post and publicise it on Facebook it also states Craftymemories.wordpress.com instead of chroniclesofyoyo.com. Please advise what I’ve missed out. I’ve not yet purchased the site redirect but do I need it in order for the posts to be published by chroniclesofyoyo.com?

  Hi there – all custom domains are mapped to your underlying .wordpress.com URL, so you’ll always see that URL in your Dashboard area, but everyone else will only see your .com domain.

  Your posts should publicize on Facebook under chroniclesofyoyo.com, though. Looking at your Facebook page, I see that the Vipho post shared with the right link, and the Bessie post with the old one. When I share that same link on Facebook now, though, it reflects your chroniclesofyoyo.com URL.

  I adjusted one thing that might help – can you let me know if this works properly on Facebook next time you post?

  Hi there! Many thanks for your prompt response. I’ve just published a short post and yes, it does say Chroniclesofyoyo.com on Facebook now.
