Custom domain email (gmail)

    (Not asking in regards to my current website). If I were transferring a paid website/domain from wix to paid wordpress website/domain and currently pay for a custom domain (gmail)email address via wix, is there a way to transfer gmail hosting to wordpress when moving the site? Or will it still need to be through wix?

    Hello there,

    Happy to help you with this.

    It’s not possible to move GSuite/Gmail email hosting from one provider to another, so what usually happens is, when moving away from a provide, the GSuite subscription is cancelled – then, Google will email you separately, asking you to renew directly with them.

    The domain would still need the settings to run the email, which we can help to configure, but the billing for the email hosting would either remain with Wix or Google.
