Custom domain – email not working

I have an email id (email visible only to moderators and staff) forwarded to my gmail account. However, this doesn’t seem to be working. No emails to this custom domain managed by WordPress is getting to me. Looks like some issue with the MX records. Please check and help fix this asap. Thanks!

Hi there,
It looks like your email forwarding addresses are setup correctly and confirmed. Can you let me know how you’re sending the test emails? Are you sending them from the same address that you’re then forwarding the emails to? If so, the test emails will not work. You will need to send the test emails from a separate account than the one you’re forwarding the custom addresses to.
Can you give that a try and let me know if you’re still experiencing trouble?

Yes, I was trying from the same account it was forwarded to. Looks like it is working from other accounts. Thanks for the quick response.
