Custom Domain for Tumblr Import

  Hi, I know that everyone’s importing from tumblr, but I haven’t been able to begin importing because of my custom domain. I’ve disconnected my custom domain from my tumblr blog days ago, but the import page still says I’m using a custom domain. Is this part of the heavy load, or is this a real problem? Any help would be appreciated.

  I don’t see any running Tumblr imports on divinities.home.blog.

  Please try again, or let me know if you’re trying to import to a different site.

  If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try canceling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your import is processed.

  Hi! I can’t run the tumblr importer for my blog because it says I have a custom domain mapped to it. I’ve removed my custom domain and it no longer points to my tumblr, but it still says I have a custom domain.

  Maybe I should be a bit clearer: on the importer, where it says “URL”, it says my previous domain instead of my blog URL (which is http://kingcaliphs.tumblr.com). It doesn’t matter how many times I disconnect WordPress from Tumblr and start over, it keeps saying “http://fauves.co”, which no longer points to my Tumblr anymore.

  Hi there,

  Please make sure you disconnect on both ends. So disconnect from Tumblr in the importer at https://divinitieshome.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=tumblr, but then also go to your Tumblr settings and remove WordPress there: https://www.tumblr.com/settings/apps

  Then try reconnecting from the importer here.

  So I’ve disconnected Tumblr from WordPress from both Tumblr’s site and WordPress’ site, and I’m still getting the same problem.

  Then reconnect the accounts. Let me know if that helps.
