Custom Domain Issues
-
I have a wordpress.com account that I created a while back as well as a an account with a hosted WordPress site in Microsoft Azure. I’ve been having domain name issues. Apparently, I tried to use my custom domain name for both of these accounts (Don’t know why or when I did this). So, I deleted my site on wordpress.com including the custom domain mapping. However, when I try to log in to my hosted WordPress site, I get redirected to my .com site and it says that I no longer have the paid version of domain mapping. My question is why would it redirect me to a website that I just deleted. Maybe it just takes time to propagate?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, the issue is that the domain is still pointed at our name servers.
Log into the domain control panel and update the name servers to point to your new host. Right now you’re using these: ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com… so you’ll remove those and add the new settings instead.
After that, wait about 6 hours for your computer to flush out the old settings, and you should see the site at its proper address. Good luck!
