Custom Domain mapping
-
I would like to use a custom DNS name server (using myFreola) to point to a custom domain name for my website. This is mainly due to the fact that I which to continue to have MX records pointing to Gmail for my email and have the web site hosted on wordpress.
I believe the way to do this is to enter and A name entry to point to wordpresses servers.
Please could you provide me with the IP address that I need to map too.
Also do I also need to map a custom domain in wordpress as well (i.e add a domain under wordpress adminsitration to indicate that I have my own domain already)
Thanks
Luke

Hi there,
We recommend that when you map a domain here you do so by changing the name servers at your domain registrar. If you have MX records added for an email account you can add those to your domain’s DNS here and your email will keep working once the name servers are changed.
It is possible to map here using A-records as well, but be aware that our IPs can change over time which means your domain will stop working and you’ll need to contact us for the new IPs.
If you prefer to map using A-records, you will need to add two A-records with these IPs:
192.0.78.24
192.0.78.25
You also need to add a domain mapping upgrade on our end to complete the connection from this side.
