custom domain name

  i bought a domain name through wordpress: beatnikradio.com. i have an existing blog with wordpress: http://beatniklife.wordpress.com. beatnikradio.com points to beatniklife.wordpress.com, but i don’t want visitors to know that they are being redirected when they type in beatnikradio.com. i would like for the web address to remain beatnikradio.com in the visitor’s browser although they are being redirected to my wordpress site.

  i have looked all over and searched forums for info on how to do this, but sadly i haven’t figured it out. any help?

  All the URLs your visitors use will and are correctly directing to your domain. On the Admin side of your blog the URLs you see are to the .wordpress.com URLs. This is normal behavior.

  When you did the domain mapping did you go all they way through the instructions including setting beatnikradio.com as the Primary address?
