Custom Domain Name

  Hello! I’m creating a new site and am upgrading to Premium – but the website name has wordpress in the domain name. How do I remove that?

  All sites at WordPress.com start out with the free site URL, and you can keep that for as long you like.

  When you upgrade your site to Premium, you will see that a “custom domain” is included for the first year at no additional charge. Once you choose a custom domain for your site, your site will then appear at the custom domain you have chosen.
