Custom domain name does not go to the WordPress site

  I need to map offbeat.fyi to offbeatfyi.wordpress.com. Everytime I type in offbeat.fyi, I want to see just that address in the address bar.

  The problem is,
  1). In the left sidebar I get an error saying “DNS configuration required”.
  2). When I click that link I get this error “offbeat.fyi’s name server records should be configured.”
  3. The DNS entries come up as blank.

  I created the domain on Google since I wanted *.fyi and host the blog on WordPress premium but now I’m all confused and nothing goes anywhere. What do I do? and where do I start?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you following the directions here step by step? It looks like you have not completed the second step.
