Custom Domain Not linked to wordpress

    Why is my custom domain not linked to my WordPress? When I type my domain name (villagenoir.com) into the web browser it does not link to the content I have on my WordPress. All I see is a generic screen with a white and blue page that has WordPress as the title page. When I first installed my custom domaine with WordPress, I followed all instructions listed on the WordPress site. I’m not sure what I did wrong but I would like to have an understanding of what is going on so I can start blogging and fully using my WordPress.
