Custom Domain Tag and Category Links

How can I set my site so that the Tags and Categories link to just those articles on my page.

For example, I use a tag named “mlb”, the currently the link is http://en.wordpress.com/tag/mlb-11-the-show/ but I want the mlb tag to link to http://thatsportsgamer.com/tag/mlb/.

Is that possible? If so, how?

It might be something easy, but I’m just getting started so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also, if I can customize my Shortlinks to my domain, that would also be cool.

By default, all tags in the post area (above or below) will link to the wordpress.COM global tags pages. The only way around this is to set your blog to block search engines, or to set it to private (settings > privacy) neither of which is typically desirable. The category and tag widget will always take you to your local tags and categories.

The iNove theme here allows you to turn off the display of cats and tags in the post metadata.

The global tags pages have SEO benefits because with your posts appearing on those pages, you share in the considerable search engine ranking for those pages. Also, many bloggers find that they get a good number of visitors from those pages.

In some themes, but not all, the tags and categories above or below posts can also be hidden with the CSS upgrade, but this requires at least some experience with, and understanding of CSS.
