Custom Domains

    Is it still possible to map a domain from an outside source for $18 per year to my WordPress site? I know this is something I’ve done multiple times in the past, but now it appears the only way to do this is to purchase a premium plan. Is that now the case?

    Hi there,

    Mapping a domain is $13, not $18, but we no longer offer that as a stand-alone upgrade. To connect your first domain you have to upgrade to a plan (we also have a Personal Plan at $36), and then it’s $13 for each additional domain you map after that.

    If you first go to My Site ->Plans and select the Personal Plan you can add a domain afterwards. The Domains screen links to the Premium Plan by default, but it’s not the only option.
