custom email subscriptions

    i need to put something on my front page where people can enter their email addresses to subscribe so i can collect them and enter them into an external program to send out a custome template. Im using comapign moniter and have had a web agency design a custom template for me to use but i cant work out how to do this?

    Hi there, for security reasons, WordPress.com doesn’t allow certain types of code to be added to sites, such as JavaScript, or form, input or iframe tags.

    If your signup form consists of any of the types of code that aren’t allowed, you could always create an off-site signup form and link to it from your WordPress.com site. For example, many third-party email marketing services offer a standalone signup page, and you could check to see whether that’s something Campaign Monitor might provide.
