Custom Featured Headers Not Working

  I’m trying to choose a theme for my blog, and I have some banners that I would like to use. Namely, I would like to use one banner for the main page, one for one category, and one for the other. After poking around the help section a bit, I think that what I’m looking for is a theme that will allow me to set up multiple custom headers as feature images. A search indicated a number of themes that claim to support this, but my menus don’t look the same as the demo video. Is this a feature that is only available if I pay for some upgrade?

  Featured images replace the regular header image in a few themes only, and featured images are set to individual posts or static pages: you cannot set a featured image to a category page.
